A frenzied flight from border to border, constantly being threatened by officials and watchdogs, crossing the Mediterranean in overcrowded people-smuggler boats only to be unwanted and pushed back by a saturated hostile society - this may be the impression one gets by listening to this piece. Therefore we often start it with the cynical slogans of our politicians:
“Das Boot ist voll, die Grenze dicht, damit die Fluechtlingswelle bricht!”
